Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Snipe macOS application ("Snipe" or the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Snipe.

2. Description of Service

Snipe is a file converter for macOS that may provide features such as:

• A radial menu in Finder for one-tap file conversion
• Quick tools such as crop, compress, rotate, QR reading, and metadata cleaning
• An in-app converter with file drop and quality options
• Optional paid license with additional formats and engines
• Optional in-app update checks and downloads

3. License Grant

Free Trial

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Snipe free for a 3-day trial for personal, non-commercial use.

Pro License

A Pro license grants access to paid features. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, Pro licenses are:

• Per-user: Intended for your own use on up to 3 Macs, subject to device activation limits
• Non-transferable: Not for resale, redistribution, or shared use outside your permitted use
• Perpetual for the current offering: Snipe's current Pro offering is a $9.99 one-time purchase with no subscription, unless a different purchase model is clearly disclosed in the future

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App except where prohibited by applicable law
• Circumvent license validation or copy protection
• Use Snipe for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices

5. App Features and Your Responsibility

Snipe converts copies of your files. Converted files are written next to your originals or wherever you choose in the app.

• Your Files: You are responsible for keeping backups of important files before converting them
• Converter Engines: Some formats need a helper engine, which Snipe can download for you with your permission
• System Access: The Finder shortcut needs macOS Accessibility permission to detect your hotkey and read your file selection
• Launch at Login and Updates: If you enable those features, Snipe may register itself to open at sign-in and may check for or download app updates in the background

6. Intellectual Property

Snipe, including its code, artwork, design, animations, and user interface, is owned by Gleemy Labs LLC or used under appropriate license. All rights reserved. You may not copy or reproduce any part of Snipe except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

7. Payments and Refunds

• Payments: Processed securely through Stripe
• Pricing: Subject to change for future purchases. Existing paid licenses remain subject to the terms in effect when purchased unless otherwise required by law
• Refunds: You may request a refund within 3 days of purchase. No reason is required.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Snipe is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all macOS versions, devices, or third-party software
• That the App will meet your specific needs or expectations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gleemy Labs LLC shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid for Snipe (if any)

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Snipe if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your license is revoked
• You must stop using the App
• Local data may remain on your device until you remove it

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Snipe after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
